Job Description:
Helias Catholic High School in Jefferson City, MO has an opening for a Head Wrestling Coach. This position is for the 2024-2025 school year. A successful candidate is a practicing Catholic in good standing who can minister to students regardless of subject area or a teacher who is consistent with the Mission of Helias Catholic High School, promotes and teaches the Catholic faith as reasonably determined by the principal. 

 The ideal candidate will:
● Understand, respect, and be committed to the spiritual, academic, personal, and athletic formation of young men.
● Respect and represent Helias Catholic’s core values of faith, community, and excellence.
● Understand that athletics and activities are an extension of the classroom that allows students to become well-rounded young people of strong moral character.
● Successfully manage all aspects of the wrestling program, including a commitment to success in competition, in the classroom, and in the general community.
● Have successful wrestling coaching experience at the high school and/or collegiate level.
● Demonstrate a strong understanding and commitment to the physical development of student-athletes through a thorough and well-designed strength and conditioning program.
● Possess the ability to develop a comprehensive program that incorporates the preparation of students for post-secondary personal, academic and athletic
challenges, as well as the promotion of Helias Catholic High School and its wrestling program as a
representative of the Helias Catholic tradition and spirit of excellence.
● Possess outstanding leadership, communication and organizational skills.

There is not an accompanying teaching job with this coaching position.
