Job Description:
High School Counselor 
Buffalo High School is currently accepting applications for a High School Counselor for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

1. Possess valid Missouri certification in School Counseling.
2. Hold a master's degree in School Counseling.
3. Demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with parents/guardians, teachers, and administrators to support students.
4. Develop and implement a comprehensive, competency-based counseling program addressing students' learning, personal/social, and career/vocational needs.
5. Exhibit strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage materials, time, and tasks efficiently, along with effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
6. Adhere to the laws of the state of Missouri.
7. Follow district policies, regulations, and administrative directives.

The district offers discounted childcare through our daycare program. Salary will be based on the board-approved salary schedule, with the opportunity for qualified candidates to bring up to 20 years of experience.
