Job Description:
CID – Central Institute for the Deaf is accepting applications for a teacher of the deaf to provide listening and spoken language instruction along with pre-academic/academic instruction to children who are deaf and hard of hearing between the ages of 3  – 12. This position is for the 2024-2025 school year.

A qualified candidate will be knowledgeable about child development and listening and spoken language instruction.  A qualified candidate will also be motivating, organized, flexible, and an excellent communicator who is willing to work collaboratively with other staff members.  A Master’s degree in Education of the Deaf is required. Candidates must obtain a valid Missouri teaching certificate.  CED (Council for Education of the Deaf) certification is preferred.
