Essential Functions:
- Review medical forms, including physicals, immunization records, and emergency action plans.
- Evaluate and manage students and staff for various conditions including illness, injury, chronic conditions, and medication administration. Facilitate further evaluation as needed.
- Collaborate with parents and other school professionals as needed to meet the health and educational needs of the student.
- Write accommodations plans for acute injury or illness as well as for chronic illnesses.
- Encourage health promotion through drug test hair collection for students, organizing influenza vaccination clinic for faculty and staff, and assisting in health educational programming for students and parents.
- Volunteer for TASK camp for 1 week every summer as nurse for special needs campers aged 5 years-25 years.
- Must hold current/valid MO RN license
- BSN preferred
- CPR certified
- Comfortable with EMR and computer use
