Job Description:
The Student Success Coordinator at Atlas Public Schools is responsible for coordinating and implementing interventions to support student academic success. This role involves collaborating with school leadership, teachers, and families to develop and maintain effective strategies for student achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain a Data Dashboard:
  • Collect, organize, and analyze student data to identify trends and areas for intervention.
  • Create and maintain a data dashboard to track student progress and intervention effectiveness.
Conduct Regular Data Analysis:
  • Analyze student performance data to identify at-risk students and develop targeted interventions.
  • Use data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement in student outcomes.
Develop and Maintain Reading Success Plans:
  • Collaborate with the Dean of Reading to develop individualized reading success plans for students who struggle.
  • Monitor and adjust reading interventions based on student progress and data analysis.
Interventionist: 
  • Implement targeted and evidence-based intervention strategies to support students who are struggling with reading concepts, ensuring personalized and differentiated instruction.
Manage Student Intervention and Supports:
  • Implement targeted and evidence-based intervention strategies to support students who are struggling with reading concepts, ensuring personalized and differentiated instruction.
  • Coordinate interventions and supports for students with learning gaps.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of interventions and adjust as needed to ensure student success.
Oversee Math Accelerate Program:
  • Collaborate with the Dean of Math Instruction to oversee the Math Accelerate Program, ensuring alignment with student needs and academic goals.
  • Monitor student progress in the Math Accelerate Program and make adjustments as necessary.
Oversee Regular Progress Monitoring:
  • Implement a system for regular progress monitoring to track student growth and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide support and resources to teachers for effective progress monitoring practices.
  • Identify students who will receive universal accommodations on benchmark assessments and MAP Grade Level Assessments
Family Communication:
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress, interventions, and support services.
  • Collaborate with families to develop strategies for supporting student learning at home.
Students in Danger of Retention:
  • Identify students at risk of retention based on academic performance and other factors.
  • Develop and implement interventions to support students in danger of retention and monitor progress towards retention goals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Experience in data analysis and student intervention
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of MTSS frameworks and best practices
  • Familiarity with reading and math intervention programs
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff from diverse backgrounds
