  • Ensures effective staff evaluation processes and practices
  • Commits to work hours necessary to meet established goals for school improvement
  • Prepares and maintains various written reports
  • Builds relationships with students, staff and families to support student learning and overall positive climate of the school and to help build strong school community
  • Ensures the school environment is inclusive and meets the needs of all children by understanding and valuing diverse backgrounds and experiences
  • Provides leadership for continued improvements in student academic achievement
  • Ensures the safety and well-being of students
  • Provides effective, timely, two-way communication with students, families and staff
  • Manages school operations, resources, and personnel to ensure a positive learning environment

Desired Position Qualifications
  • Education: Ph.D./Ed.D. or MA/MS in school administration
  • Certification: Missouri K-8 Principal
  • Experience: Previous school administration experience
