MERS/Goodwill’s mission is “Changing lives through the power of work.” One barrier to employment is dropping out of school. Adults without a high school degree struggle to further their education & obtain employment with a family-sustaining wage.  This is your chance to play a key role in helping adults earn their high school diplomas. Goodwill, supported by DESE and MO DSS, runs 4 adult high schools in Missouri. Our schools serve almost 1,000 adults. We marshal resources to support students with flexible scheduling, life coaching, transportation assistance, on-site daycare, & outside resources. Students pick up where they left off to complete the remaining credits they need to earn a MO high school diploma. Students are also able to earn Industry Recognized Credentials (IRC). Currently, 41% of our graduates enroll in college/advanced training & about 60% graduate with dual credit or an IRC.  APPLY HERE
