St. Joseph’s Academy is a college preparatory high school in Frontenac, Missouri sponsored by St. Joseph
Educational Ministries with student enrollment of 600 and 100 faculty and staff. Founded in 1840 by the
Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, the mission of the Academy is to provide quality Catholic education
for young women in an environment that challenges them to grow in faith, knowledge, and respect for
self and others. Our community expects these young women to make a profound impact in the world.
St. Joseph’s Academy is committed to developing young women to be “Values-Driven Leaders” and
upholds the school’s motto, “Not I, But We.”

The Director of Enrollment Management is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive, action-oriented enrollment strategies and tactics to position St. Joseph’s Academy as the all-girls, faith-based college preparatory school of choice. This position oversees all aspects of recruitment, selection, enrollment, and retention.

The Enrollment Director:
  •  Is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and reports to the President.
  •  Works collaboratively with Senior Leadership Team, faculty, staff, student ambassadors, and families.
  •  Leads by example, expressing warmth and hospitality and ensuring the mission of St. Joseph’s Academy and the charism of the Sisters of St.Joseph of Carondelet are tangible and visible in the enrollment process.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the school’s curriculum and offerings, as well as those offered by competitor schools.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
  • Five or more years of admission experience, preferably with an independent or religious school,
    a college, or a university; proven successful sales and organizational management skills in an
    unrelated field will be considered
  • Ability to be an influential spokesperson with excellent written and oral communication skills to
    effectively market and communicate the values and mission of the school to both students and
    adults
  • Proven leadership success including the ability to motivate and lead positively through change,
    work collaboratively with external offices, and establish a visible presence in the SJA community
  • Genuine desire to forge relationships with faculty, staff, students, parents, alumnae, and the
    community at large
  • High level of integrity, a strong work ethic, and confidence; exhibits flexibility, listens effectively,
    and maintains confidentiality
  • Demonstrated success in developing and achieving strategic plans and goals, recruiting,
    conversion and retention in prior positions
  • Available for limited travel events, and as well as evenings and weekends as necessary
