Position Type: Instructional Coach
Reports To: Director of Teaching and Learning
Location: Gateway Science Academy (Concept Schools Southwest Region- MO)
Summary of Role:
The ELA Regional Instructional Coach (RIC) supports a portfolio of schools within the Southwest Region and serves as a mentor and role model. The RIC ensures the implementation of Concept School’s Academic Excellence Framework by supporting the region’s mission of closing the achievement gap and accelerating learning for all students. As an experienced leader, the RIC is an essential member of the Teaching and Learning team and is charged with guiding teachers in vertical alignment, analysis of data related to student mastery relative to the Missouri Learning Standards, implementing quality instructional practices as defined by the Danielson Framework for Teaching, and coordinating intervention and enrichment support for students.
