                           The Pleasant Hill School District is currently seeking applicants for the position of:
                                                      High School Head Girls Wrestling Coach
 
 
Length of contract: 2024-25 Wrestling Season

The successful candidate at Pleasant Hill High School for this position will…

• Present and maintain a high level of professionalism as an educational leader and head coach while demonstrating an exemplary level of integrity within the program.
• Have 7th-12th wrestling coaching experience.
• Be proficient in methods of instruction involving wrestling skills
• Be an educator within the Pleasant Hill School District - preferred
• Meet MSHSAA Assistant Coaching Requirements according to the guidelines presented in the MSHSAA handbook (sec 3.1)
• Be certified as a substitute teacher and must have completed 60 credit hours from an accredited institution.
• The successful candidate will fulfill the duties as follows...

 
Duties:

• Coaching 9th-12th girls wrestlers
• Lead the assistant coaches in program events and practices (items include scoring meets, running bullpens, trackwrestling programs and event set-up)
• Lead the program coaches in planning, organizing and operating efficient practices
• Oversee with the preparation of MS, JV and varsity girls events (home & away)
• Schedule and assist off-season workouts, camps and activities as deemed necessary 
• Be able to effectively communicate with students/athletes regarding their progress, performance and critical needs to improve
• Be able to effectively communicate with parents
• Grow the girls programs
