Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Instructional Design Coach - Elementary
- Full-time, follows teacher calendar plus 10 days
- Base Teacher's Salary of $45,058 for 2024-2025 School Year
- Full benefits included
- Required Missouri Certificate: Elementary 1-6
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops positive and supportive relationships with classroom teachers, administrators, and staff.
- Supports teachers and administrators in using data to improve instruction on all levels.
- Assists teachers with planning and pacing of lessons, the development of differentiated lessons, and the selection of best practices to meet the needs of their students.
- Develops each teacher’s capacity to serve as a model of high-quality instruction. Develops coaching plans for teachers to ensure student improvement.
- Uses, analyzes, and reflects on formative assessment data with teachers to improve teaching and learning.
- Utilizes innovative technologies that impact teaching and learning to include showcasing of innovative instructional design resources through grade level team meetings, one-on-one coaching and staff professional learning.
- Utilizes school learning structures to support teachers with planning for high impact learning experiences that are standards-based and integrate instructional shifts.
- Utilizes Adult Learning Theory to motivate adult learners to improve professional practice.
- Provides support for instructional technology to facilitate a Blended Learning Model.
- Nurtures and grows student opportunities for leadership in technology and STEM Collaborates with colleagues to develop an integrated elementary curriculum through the curriculum revision cycle.
- 5 or more years successful teaching experience at the Elementary level
- Masters degree
- Ability to support teachers in reading instruction; phonemic awareness, fluency, phonics, vocabulary, and comprehension
- Ability to support teachers in all curricular areas
- Ability to multitask, manage large projects, and adhere to deadlines
- Leadership skills in both formal and informal settings
- Preferred experience with social-emotional learning and restorative practices
- Ability to facilitate meetings and professional learning opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge using a variety of assessment tools Knowledge of researched-based instructional strategies that engage all students
- Experience using digital resources to engage learners
- Experience designing and facilitating professional development of adults
