                                                     High School Varsity Assistant Volleyball Coach

Coaching Description:
Pleasant Hill High School is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Volleyball Coach for the 2024 season. 

The successful candidate at Pleasant Hill High School for this position will…

• Present and maintain a high level of professionalism as an educational leader and assistant coach while demonstrating an exemplary level of integrity within the program.
• Have volleyball coaching experience
• Be proficient in methods of instruction involving volleyball skills
• Be an educator within the Pleasant Hill School District - preferred
• Meet MSHSAA Assistant Coaching Requirements according to the guidelines presented in the MSHSAA handbook (sec 3.1)
• Candidates must be certified as a substitute teacher and must have completed 60 credit hours from an accredited institution.
• The successful candidate will fulfill the duties as follows...

 
Duties:

• Coaching a sub-varsity  volleyball team
• Assist the head coach in program events and practices (items include scoring games, assisting with documentation/communication and tournaments)
• Assist the head coach in planning, organizing and operating efficient practices and events
• Assist with the preparation of JV and varsity games (home & away)
• Attend and assist off-season workouts, camp and activities as deemed necessary by the head coach
• Be able to effectively communicate with students/athletes regarding their progress, performance and critical needs to improve
• Be able to effectively communicate with parents

2024 High School Volleyball Season
