Job Description:
KVC Missouri Teachers engage in regular communication with external contacts, including parents/guardians, schools, treatment providers, and referral agency personnel, discussing the child's needs and progress. They teach academic and social skills within a private educational system, collaborating closely with therapists, teacher assistants, youth care specialists, adjunctive therapists, and other treatment team members.

KVC Missouri's Residential Treatment program offers therapeutic services in a 24/7-supervised facility for children and teenagers with acute emotional and behavioral problems.

- Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30PM
- Starting at $37,500 based on experience and licensure
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
- Missouri state license to teach
- Missouri Department of Education Substitute Certification
- Actively working towards acquiring certification
- Must be 21 years old to apply
- Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required
- Valid driver's license
- Valid auto insurance
