Lift For Life Academy, St. Louis' first Charter school is seeking an energetic, creative, and student-focused Middle School English Language Arts teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Responsibilities and Duties:

• Researching and recommending curricula
• Creating lesson plans
• Administering tests
• Assessing student progress
• Coordinating a homeroom/advisory
• Managing student portfolios
• Coordinating individual learning contracts for students in their homerooms
• Coordinating other areas of LFL, including, but not limited to, assemblies, open houses, field trips, including discipline, curriculum and enrichment/student success

Qualifications and Skills
1. Missouri Teacher Certification w/relevant experience.
2. Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office Applications
3. Proficiency with database applications.
4. Strong oral communication skills.
5. Strong organizational skills with attention to details.
6. Ability to work in fast paced environment.
7. Ability to remain neutral and calm under stressful situations.
8. Must have a positive attitude and a good sense of humor and a problem solver
