Job Description:
Charleston R-I School District is seeking qualified applicants for a Jr./Sr. High School Choir and Band Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.
 
The applicant must:
1) A valid Missouri Teaching Certificate in Vocal and Instrumental Music (K-12)  Salary is based on the current Salary Schedule with a benefits package.
2) Comply with the laws of the state of Missouri.
3) Comply with district policies, regulations, and administrative directives.
 
The candidate will provide vocal and instrumental music instruction for grades 7 - 12.  Successful candidates will demonstrate high expectations for all students, effective classroom management practices, and highly effective instructional strategies.
