Norborne R-VIII School District is seeking applicants for a 5th Grade Teacher in our Elementary School for 2024-2025 school year. We are looking for candidates who have a passion for student excellence and making a positive difference in a child’s life. The successful candidate must be able to implement engaging classroom instruction, develop effective classroom management utilizing Positive Behavior Intervention and Support, integrate technology skills into the learning environment, possess strong communication skills, and build positive relationships with students, parents and community. Students are one to one with Chromebooks and teachers have interactive panels and laptops. The district provides classroom teachers with numerous resources to help aid in instruction implementation to increase student achievement. Candidates should have a working knowledge of Professional Learning Communities and Missouri Learning Standards.  All certified teaching years are accepted for placement on the salary schedule.  Health/Life Insurance Benefits provided.
