Hiring Multiple Positions


 Al-Salam Day School located in Ballwin, St. Louis, Missouri is looking for dedicated and certified teachers to fill multiple positions open and fulfill the mission of the school by managing classrooms, creating lesson plans and more. The following positions are open:
1. Elementary Grade Level Teachers
2. Secondary Subject Teachers
3. Qur'an and Deen Teachers
4. Specials Teachers

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : 

• Support of school mission and culture
• Timely attendance
• Positive Team Player
• Developing lesson plans and curriculum
• Collaborate with other staff to develop lesson plans, teaching strategies and interventions.
• Prepare students for formal and informal assessments
• Grading tests, quizzes and assignments in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively and regularly with parents and students regarding performance
• Aware of current events and incorporate them into lessons to make them more relevant
• Ensure all grade level requirements are met
• Assessing students’ needs and providing support or extra resources to struggling students as well as exceptional achievers
• Expanding teachers networks and participating in workshops, lectures and other learning opportunities.

Requirements : 

• Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline
• Master’s Degree preferred
• Relevant certification
• Ability to multitask in high stress environments
