Job Description:
Restoration and Wellness Center.  Located at 1555 Derhake Rd. in Florissant, Missouri.  Restoration and Wellness Center is committed to challenging students to achieve academic excellence and personal success by providing state-of-the-art instruction and a challenging curriculum within a warm, caring environment in partnership with dedicated parents, staff, and community. 
 
 
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
  1. Must have a valid Missouri teaching certificate
  2. Develop lessons and differentiate instruction to leverage students' interest and background knowledge in the pursuit of deeper learning and mastery of the standards. 
  3. Conduct daily emotional check-ins with students.
  4. Conduct ongoing formative and summative assessments that measure student growth and progress in relation to the standards. 
  5. Monitor and provide feedback on the social and emotional development of their students.
  6. Regularly communicate with parents about their child's academic, social, and emotional progress.
  7. Collaborate with other teachers, social workers, and counselors to develop tiered interventions of support as necessary for their students. 
  8. Participate in ongoing professional development leading to proficiency in Missouri Educator Evaluation System. 
  9. Regularly review quantitative and qualitative data to inform instructional and behavioral interventions. 
  10. Collaborate with other stakeholders to develop students' reentry plan to their homeschool with the proper support in place leading to a successful transition.
  11. Engage in professional learning that results in an understanding of the dimensions of wellness, trauma-informed and restorative practices, as well as cognitive and behavioral development. 
  12. Collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure students attain their academic, social, and emotional goals. 
  13. Be aware of and/or participate on district teams for curriculum development, data analysis, staff development planning, selection of materials, and other committees.
  14. Support schoolwide meetings and supervise activities as needed.
  15. Instruct students on learning strategies that foster metacognition and develops students to become independent thinkers 
  16. Guide the learning process toward the achievement of established district curriculum goals, establish and communicate clear objectives to the students for all lessons, units, and projects.
  17. Must possess strong instructional technology skills and be able to maintain and manage a digital learning space.
  18. Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, District policy, and administrative regulations.
  19. Develop a code of conduct for the classroom, which is consistent with the established Discipline Code of the District and the assigned building. Develop rules of classroom behavior, which are enforced in a fair and just manner.
  20. Maintain good attendance.
