3rd Grade Teacher
Classification: Certified, Exempt
Qualifications: Valid Missouri Teacher’s certificate or eligibility for Missouri Teacher’s certificate aligned to the content area and/or grade level vacancy.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications may be appropriate to the scope of the position. Examples include, teaching certification in another area with interest and eligibility for temporary certification or content area degree with eligibility for temporary teaching certification pathway.
Reports to (Daily): Building Principal
Position Overview: The School District of Washington is seeking a teacher (s) responsible for planning and providing direct instruction and creating a positive culture centered on learning. Ideal candidates demonstrate the ability to form safe relationships with students, effective oral and written communication skills, high level organizational skills, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholder groups. This position has a key role in fostering a positive, productive, and safe environment for students.
