Requirements of Applicants:
- Certification in and/or practical experience in Middle School education and Social Studies instruction
- Ability to design and teach engaging lessons, evaluate student performance, instruct using a combination of direct teaching and hands-on learning experiences
- Foster a classroom environment rooted in mutual respect, academic rigor, and joyful learning
- Be positive and responsible
- Have good communication skills
- Able to differentiate instruction with diverse levels in one class
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Experience creating warm, nurturing classroom environments
- Mondays - Thursdays, 12:00pm - 4:15pm
- Fridays, 11:30am - 2:15pm
- Mondays - Thursdays, 8:15am - 4:15pm
- Fridays, 8:15am - 2:15pm
Salary Range:
- Annual Salary Range: $20,000 - $24,000 pending experience (part-time) or $40,000 - $46,000 (full-time)
- Actual Salary will be based on start date and experience
