Position Title:Executive Director Operations 
Reports to: Superintendent
 
 QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS  
  • Master’s degree or Doctorate in education, business, human resources, or a related field
  • Experience as a district level administrator with emphasis on business operations and school district budgets
  • Effective oral and written communication skills 
  •  Ability to work cooperatively with others to resolve problems
  • Human Resources experience
  • Data analytics experience and critical thinking skills
QUALIFICATIONS/PREFFERED
  • District Leadership license preferred
  • Experience as a district or organizational level administrator preferred in business, human resources, finance, operations or a related field
 ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES 
  • Coordinate and ensure effective communication and operations between finance, facilities, food service, and information technology departments.
  • Oversee the efficient operation of all district operations and support departments ensuring quality services and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and school board policies.
  • Support the supervision and oversight of the district’s internal auditor
  • Coordinate communication between the district operations, human resources, and finance
  • Support district professional negotiations efforts
  • Develop and prepare recommendations on the district’s employee health and fringe benefit program
  • Assist the superintendent in monitoring and coordinating compliance activities of departments
  • Support the superintendent in monitoring departmental requests, ensuring the strategic plan and budgetary responsibilities are effectively monitored and managed
  • Develop and lead strategic compliance plans, including incident prevention efforts, district insurance compliance, and make recommendations to leadership.
  • Establish and maintain an internal reporting system to effectively measure school programs and ensure equal opportunity progress through periodic reports
  • Gather, research, and analyze data, including creating workforce analysis reports,  preparing and reviewing data on facility and technology work orders,  and coordinating  employee and district insurance including Workman’s’ Compensation 
  • Implement the vision of the school board and superintendent 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools. 
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
  • 12 months; Salary and work year to be determined by the Board of Education
