QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree or Doctorate in education, business, human resources, or a related field
- Experience as a district level administrator with emphasis on business operations and school district budgets
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with others to resolve problems
- Human Resources experience
- Data analytics experience and critical thinking skills
- District Leadership license preferred
- Experience as a district or organizational level administrator preferred in business, human resources, finance, operations or a related field
- Coordinate and ensure effective communication and operations between finance, facilities, food service, and information technology departments.
- Oversee the efficient operation of all district operations and support departments ensuring quality services and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and school board policies.
- Support the supervision and oversight of the district’s internal auditor
- Coordinate communication between the district operations, human resources, and finance
- Support district professional negotiations efforts
- Develop and prepare recommendations on the district’s employee health and fringe benefit program
- Assist the superintendent in monitoring and coordinating compliance activities of departments
- Support the superintendent in monitoring departmental requests, ensuring the strategic plan and budgetary responsibilities are effectively monitored and managed
- Develop and lead strategic compliance plans, including incident prevention efforts, district insurance compliance, and make recommendations to leadership.
- Establish and maintain an internal reporting system to effectively measure school programs and ensure equal opportunity progress through periodic reports
- Gather, research, and analyze data, including creating workforce analysis reports, preparing and reviewing data on facility and technology work orders, and coordinating employee and district insurance including Workman’s’ Compensation
- Implement the vision of the school board and superintendent
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools.
