Job Description:
Private school seeking a 4th Grade Teacher for 2025-2026 School Year. Our school prides itself in small class sizes and a warm working environment.

Torah Prep School of St. Louis is the largest Jewish Day School in the state of Missouri, providing Torah-based religious and secular education to over 315 students from preschool to 8th grade.  Our faculty is composed of some of the most sincere, dedicated and accomplished academic professionals and rebbeim anywhere.  The pursuit of excellence exhibited by our staff is largely what's behind the innovative and rigorous education that students receive at Torah Prep School with small classroom sizes.

Requirements of Applicants:

• Strong background in Literacy (specifically guided reading and writer's workshop) and Science of Reading
• Knowledgeable in the best practices to deliver instruction to students of various levels and with various learning needs
• Proven record of developing engaging lesson plans and delivering instruction in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies in elementary schools
• Solid understanding of children's developmental needs
• Ability to address the needs of all students and challenge each one to reach his/her potential
• Team Player with strong communication skills
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Creative, dynamic and positive professionals
• Experience creating warm, nurturing classroom environments
   

Work Schedule:

• Mondays - Thursdays, 12:00pm - 4:15pm
• Fridays, 11:30am - 2:15pm

Salary Range:

• Annual Salary Range: $20,000 - $24,000 pending experience
• Actual Salary will be based on start date and experience
