Reports To: Building Principal(s) / Director of Bands

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Music Education preferred, percussion background required, high school diploma required, Associate's degree required
Representative Essential Job Functions:
  • Instruct percussion students at Farmington HS, including Drumline and Percussion Solos & Ensembles
  • Manage and maintain percussion equipment at Farmington HS
  • Attend District & State Solo & Ensemble Music Festivals
  • Attend Marching Band rehearsals each school day through November 1st from 6:45am-8:45am
  • Attend Band camp during the last week of July and first week of August
  • Attend Marching Band evening rehearsals, football games, and competitions
  • Run a Drumline audition process in the spring
  • Rehearse Drumline after school during fall season once per week
  • Other duties as necessary and assigned
