Job Description:
Job Overview: Rosati-Kain Academy, a Catholic, college-preparatory high school for young women in St. Louis, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Track & Field Coach for the 2025-2026 season. The season begins on March 3, 2026.  The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive and mission-driven athletic environment. A four-year degree is preferred, along with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, and experience coaching high school athletes. Candidates must meet all MSHSAA requirements before the season begins. Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students who apply to join the team and, after consultation with the Athletic Director, select team members.
• Provide exceptional coaching services to your team, ensuring player development, team building, and success on and off the field.
• Adhere to all Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) rules and regulations, and ensure your team does as well.
• Follow all policies established by the Athletic Director and School President.
• Maintain all school-provided equipment and manage your own as needed.
• Keep the Athletic Director informed of any issues or concerns, ensuring transparency and timely communication.
• Distribute and collect uniforms promptly before and after the season.
• Attend all meetings scheduled by the Athletic Director and participate in school events such as Open Houses, recruitment events, and team banquets.
• Develop and coordinate practice schedules and plans, and oversee all program activities.
• Ensure full participation in all team competitions throughout the season.
• Evaluate any assistant coaches at the end of the season.
• Submit all team statistics and required paperwork on time. 
• Track attendance and communicate with athletes who will receive credit at the end of the season.

This is a temporary contract position. We are in need of both a Head Coach and an Assistant Coach.  The Head Coach position pays $4,798 and the Assistant Coach pays $3,945, each for the season, and those amounts are payable in two installments, one at the season midpoint and one at the season end.
