Incarnate Word Academy, a premier female Catholic high school in St. Louis, is seeking a part-time Athletic Trainer to support our student-athletes. This position primarily covers after-school hours during athletic practices and home/away events. The Athletic Trainer plays a vital role in promoting the health, safety, and well-being of our athletes, working in collaboration with coaches, administrators, and healthcare providers.

This position primarily covers after-school hours during athletic practices and home/away events. The Athletic Trainer plays a vital role in promoting the health, safety, and well-being of our athletes, working in collaboration with coaches, administrators, and healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services for student-athletes.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all student-athletes.
- Communicate with parents, coaches, and healthcare professionals regarding athlete care and return-to-play protocols.
- Monitor student-athletes during practices and competitions to ensure safety.
- Educate athletes on injury prevention, nutrition, and overall wellness.
- Oversee the stocking and maintenance of athletic training supplies and equipment.
- Uphold the mission and core beliefs of Incarnate Word Academy while supporting the holistic development of our students.
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field required
- Current BOC certification (Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers).
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, staff, and families.
- Commitment to supporting the mission of an all-girls Catholic high school.
- Type: Part-time
- Hours: Primarily after school, evenings, and some weekends (based on athletic schedules).
- Compensation: Competitive wages, commensurate with experience.
