Job Description:
Engineering Teacher–PT
St. Joseph’s Academy, a Catholic college-preparatory high school for young women in St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking a part-time Engineering Teacher to join our team and teach a variety of hands-on engineering courses and clubs, including Robotics, Engineering Methods, and Principles of Engineering Design. The ideal candidate will lead the JoeBotics robotics team, guiding students through the building and programming of FTC robots while also overseeing their participation in competitions. For the engineering classes, the teacher will facilitate project-based learning in engineering concepts like CAD, prototyping, and problem-solving, using both mechanical and biomedical engineering principles (the current classes use Autodesk - Fusion, SketchUp, and Whitebox Learning). This position requires a passion for teaching, mentoring, and fostering a creative, collaborative learning environment that prepares students for future careers. Availability to work with the current Engineering teacher during the 25-26 school year is a plus.
