Social Worker - One Year Only - Lindbergh Schools
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Master’s in Social Work required
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification preferred
Minimum of three years teaching or other public service (social work preferred).
Guidance or related education and/or certification at a graduate level.
Working knowledge and experience in the following areas:
Social Worker - One Year Only - Lindbergh Schools
- Schedule: 10-Months, one year only
- Salary subject to experience
- Masters in Social Work required
- Licensed Clinical Social Work certification is preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral support for identified students, including both IEP and non-IEP students, through individual and small group intervention sessions focused on social-emotional learning, behavior regulation, and skill development.
- Develop and implement evidence-based prevention and intervention strategies that reduce disciplinary incidents and increase student access to instruction.
- Review discipline data regularly and collaborate with school teams to identify and support students at risk of repeated in-school or out-of-school suspensions.
- Participate in special education and 504 team meetings to support the development and implementation of behavior plans and interventions.
- Consult with school staff and families on student behavior needs and assist in planning strategies to promote positive behavior.
- Support crisis response efforts when appropriate, helping students safely return to instruction.
- Partner with families to ensure continuity of support across school and home environments.
- Maintain detailed documentation and track student progress to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Contribute to district efforts to reduce exclusionary discipline and address disproportionality in disciplinary outcomes for all student groups.
- Communicate and collaborate with community agencies and internal district teams to align services with student needs.
- Other duties as assigned by the executive director of assessment and student services and director of special education.

- Counseling issues facing adolescents including depression/suicide, chemical dependency, eating disorders, and family difficulties.
- Facilitating support groups.
- Developing prevention programs for staff and/or students
