St. Cecilia School, a vibrant Catholic community dedicated to academic excellence and faith formation, seeks a FULL-TIME Leadership Assistant: Family Engagement Coordinator to strengthen family-school partnerships and support the principal in advancing the mission of Catholic education.
This role combines administrative support with leadership in family engagement. Recognizing post-COVID declines in parent involvement and the impact of family engagement on attendance and achievement, the Coordinator builds programs that empower parents to support their children’s academic, social-emotional, and spiritual growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Uphold and advance the Catholic mission and identity of the school.
     
  • Coordinate  Family Engagement Programs in partnership with the principal that support family needs.
     
  • Rebuild parent involvement post-COVID, strengthening links between engagement, attendance, and student success.
     
  • Provide administrative support in scheduling, communication, and event coordination.
     
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to increase family participation in student learning.
     
  • Partner with parish and community organizations to expand family resources.
     

Qualifications
  • Practicing Catholic committed to the mission of Catholic education.
     
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Educational Leadership, Administration, Family Engagement, or related field (or actively pursuing).
     
  • 5+ years of teaching, leadership, or community engagement experience, preferably in Catholic education.
     
  • Strong skills in communication, organization, and cultural sensitivity.
     
  • Experience designing and leading workshops for parents/families.
     
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
