SCC is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Part-Time Academic Coach Math Tutor to join our team. This position focuses on providing tutoring support to help students excel academically. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Math and a passion for helping students achieve their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions in Math.
• Develop personalized learning plans tailored to each student's needs and academic goals.
• Assist students in understanding and mastering course material, including homework, projects, and exam preparation.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adjusting tutoring strategies as needed.
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that motivates students to succeed.
• Collaborate with other academic coaches and staff to share best practices and resources.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or higher.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience in Math.
• Proficiency in College Algebra up to Statistics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to helping students achieve their academic potential.
