ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Description:
  • Maintain staff-to-child ratios in all classrooms.
  • Establish a vision for quality for the center. Manage adherence to quality standards in accordance with the vision and with state and local requirements.
  • Maintain quality effectiveness measurements.
  • Develop general educational curricula; collaborate with staff to develop positive learning activities.
  • Hire and supervise all ELC staff members, including providing new employee orientations and regular feedback and evaluations.
  • Manage adherence to state and local regulations.
  • Maintain student records in accordance with established enrollment procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain communications with parents of current and prospective students through direct conversation, newsletters and parent handbook; implement community outreach activities to maintain and promote positive community relationships.
  • Maintain positive relationships with regulatory agencies; ensure legal and financial compliance.
  • Oversee all office functions including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, tuition billing and payment, human resources, staff supervision and purchasing.
  • Manage budget planning and review.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as designated.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Supports management of a portfolio of strategic talent pipelines, including certifying partners, local universities, community organizations, and online platforms to build sustainable sources for District positions.
  • Manages day-to-day operations related to candidate screening, scheduling, and communication to ensure that candidates have a seamless experience with the district.
  • Supports the operations of the Recruitment Team to ensure all functions are completed with a high degree of precision, efficiency, and professionalism; this includes assisting the Chief Human Resources Officer with scheduling and other daily administrative tasks.
  • Provides top-notch customer service to all candidates and hiring managers, effectively communicating and problem-solving.
  • Proactively builds relationships with partners, candidates, and hiring managers in order to foster effective talent practices and partnerships across the district.
  • Acts as a liaison and ambassador in all settings, representing the district in front of various stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with all relevant stakeholders in the implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • When appropriate, supports fundraising and the creation of partnerships to support the work of recruitment and selection across the district.
  • Coordinates all aspects of recruitment and selection events and ensures seamless operations at all events.
  • Analyzes data, prepares detailed reports, and makes strategic recommendations based upon research and data.
  • Creates recruitment and selection materials, project plans, and other relevant deliverables that demonstrate a high degree of professionalism.
  • Empowers hiring managers and works in service of hiring managers across the district to ensure hiring managers have access to top talent and that hiring managers can navigate recruitment and selection processes and systems efficiently.
  • Works collaboratively on cross-departmental teams, as necessary, to ensure effectiveimplementation of strategy talent work across the district.
  • Ability to effectively present information to Leadership, public groups, and/or groups of employees.
  • Ability to facilitate and resolve conflict situations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: Ph.D./Ed.D. or MA/MS in school administration preferably with additional, proven training in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
  • Experience: Previous leadership experience
  • Prior experience in early childhood educational program and settings preferred.
  • Compliance with other regulatory requirements as applicable.
  • Clearance of (Missouri Automatic Criminal History System (MACHS) – Rap Back Program.
  • Clearance of the Missouri Department of Family Services (MDFS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite, PowerSchool, etc.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Pediatric First Aid/CPR (may be obtained after employment).
  • Strong oral and written communications skills; technology skills.
  • Ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
  • A strong understanding of child development.
  • Strong finance and budgeting skills.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
