Premier Charter School is seeking a dedicated and professional School Resource Officer (SRO) to join our team. The SRO will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our students, staff, and school property. This position requires a proactive approach to fostering a positive school environment and building relationships with students and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a visible presence on campus to deter and respond to any potential safety issues.
- Collaborate with school administration to develop and implement safety protocols and emergency response plans, and play an integral part on our CRISIS team.
- Engage with students, staff, and parents to promote a safe and supportive school climate.
- Conduct investigations of incidents and assist in conflict resolution.
- Educate students on safety, law enforcement, and legal issues through presentations and programs.
- Serve as a liaison between the school and local law enforcement agencies.
