Head Girls Soccer Coach
Incarnate Word Academy – Spring 2026 Season
Incarnate Word Academy is seeking a Head Girls Soccer Coach for the Spring 2026 season. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong skills in relationship building, communication, organization, and a thorough knowledge of the sport. Previous head coaching experience is preferred but not required.
This is a stipend position, compensated according to the Incarnate Word Academy athletic stipend schedule.

Head Girls Soccer Coach
Incarnate Word Academy – Spring 2026 Season
Incarnate Word Academy is seeking a Head Girls Soccer Coach for the Spring 2026 season. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong skills in relationship building, communication, organization, and a thorough knowledge of the sport. Previous head coaching experience is preferred but not required.
This is a stipend position, compensated according to the Incarnate Word Academy athletic stipend schedule.
Primary Responsibilities
- Promoting growth and development of soccer athletes
- Building relationships with athletes, parents, and potential IWA student-athletes
- Planning and organizing practices, including securing locations and developing practice plans
- Assisting athletes with offseason improvement plans
- Collaborating with assistant and lower-level coaches
- Fulfillment of MSHSAA coaching certification requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate effectively to athletes, parents, and coaching staff
- Demonstrated leadership and a passion for mentoring student-athletes
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with flexibility and attention to detail
- Ability to develop, communicate, and implement daily practice plans
- In-depth knowledge of soccer, including rules, game strategies, player development, training methods, and fitness conditioning
