The Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking a passionate, innovative, and highly qualified educator to join our team as a Gifted Education Teacher at Stonegate Elementary School. This position can be either part time or full time based on candidate availability. The ideal candidate will develop and implement engaging, differentiated instructional strategies to support the academic and social-emotional growth of gifted students. The qualified candidate should hold or be eligible for a valid Missouri Certificate for Gifted Education

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver enrichment lessons that align with district gifted education goals and state standards.
• Identify student strengths and needs through assessments, observations, and collaboration with classroom teachers and parents.
• Differentiate curriculum to meet the varied needs of gifted learners, including compacting, acceleration, and project-based learning.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to support differentiated instruction within the general education setting.
• Maintain accurate documentation for gifted identification, progress monitoring, and parent communication.
• Participate in professional development related to gifted education and share knowledge with staff.
• Advocate for the needs of gifted learners and promote a culture of high expectations.
