Position: Middle School History & Language Arts Teacher

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and spiritually grounded Middle School History & Language Arts Teacher to inspire students in grades 6–8. This individual will teach both subjects from a biblical worldview while fostering critical thinking, strong writing skills, and a deep understanding of God’s hand in history.
Key Responsibilities:

• Teach middle school History (World and U.S.) and Language Arts (literature, writing, grammar)
• Integrate Christian worldview into all lesson plans and class discussions
• Design engaging, age-appropriate lessons that challenge and support students
• Foster respectful, discussion-based classroom culture
• Communicate consistently with students and parents regarding academic progress
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and leadership in support of school-wide goals
• Supervise students in non-classroom settings as needed (chapel, lunch, events)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, History, or a related field (required)
• Experience teaching middle school (preferred)
• Passion for Christian education and discipleship
• Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills
• State teaching certification (preferred)
