Job Description:
Osage County R-2 is seeking a dedicated and compassionate High School Special Education/Life Skills Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education, with a passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs. This position focuses on providing instruction in functional academics, daily living skills, social development, and vocational readiness, with an emphasis on helping students achieve independence and success both in school and beyond.

Osage County R-2 School is a K-12 School located in Linn, Mo. It is approximately a 30-minute drive from Jefferson City on Hwy 50. We are a 4-day school week, operating Tuesday through Friday.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
147 School Days
10 Contracted PD days
7 Paid Holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, December 24, December 25, December 31, and January 1
