Job Description:
Villa Duchesne is seeking an experienced Lower School Homeroom Teacher (Grades 4th, 5th and 6th) with an emphasis in mathematics for the upcoming school year. This candidate will have a conferred bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred) in mathematics, and have previous teaching experience.
The ideal candidate will also:
  • possess a commitment to using a variety of pedagogical approaches in the classroom;
  • have experience utilizing Google Classroom;
  • be familiar with the Singapore Math (Math in Focus) platform; and
  • demonstrate a commitment to building mathematical fluency in students, in which these students will transition to the Upper School mathematics program after sixth grade
