The Leadership Assistant is a collaborative leader who provides support in designated instructional, spiritual, and operational areas, acting as an extension of the principal’s leadership. The Leadership Assistant contributes to building a positive, Christ-centered school culture and remains flexible in focusing on the school’s evolving priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Mission and Catholic Identity:
- Support the principal in maintaining and promoting St. Cecilia School's Catholic identity and mission.
- Collaborate in integrating Catholic social teaching and Gospel values across curricular and co-curricular programs.
- Serve as an instructional leader in collaboration with the principal and instructional coaches, supporting curriculum development, instructional best practices, and assessment.
- Help foster a professional culture of collaboration, high expectations, and continuous improvement among faculty and staff.
- Assist in the supervision and evaluation of faculty and staff as delegated by the principal.
- Provide a visible leadership presence, ensuring availability to students, teachers, and families throughout the school day.
- Represent the principal at meetings, events, or committees as requested.
- Provide leadership in selected academic initiatives, such as data analysis, curriculum coordination, or professional development.
- Support faculty in instructional practices that promote high achievement for all students.
- Collaborate with the principal to monitor student progress and address academic interventions as needed.
- Assist with operational responsibilities as assigned, which may include student discipline, scheduling, safety procedures, communication with families, or school events.
- Support enrollment and marketing efforts by fostering positive relationships with current and prospective families.
- Help manage aspects of student life, co-curricular activities, or community partnerships according to school priorities.
- A practicing Catholic committed to the mission of Catholic education.
- Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field (or actively pursuing).
- Minimum 5 years of teaching or school leadership experience, preferably in Catholic education.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional development practices.
- Effective communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the Spanish language is strongly preferred to support the school’s bilingual and multicultural community.
