Athletics Assistant - Lindbergh High School
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
This includes, but is not limited to, after-school events and daily high school events. This position will assist the athletic director with all responsibilities that require additional supervision to ensure the organization of the athletic department's daily operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
- Support the maintenance and organization of the overall program of Lindbergh High School athletics.
- Support the Athletic Department through:
- Evening and weekend event preparation and supervision
- Oversee the proper eligibility of all student-athletes
- Coordinate Game Day Preparation for all Lindbergh High School-hosted events
- Confirm officials for daily events
- Roster/Eligibility entries and monitoring (Data entry/tracking)
- Website upkeep
- Coordinate Technology and Social Media for the Athletic Department
- Organize event workers. Assists school to direct buses, greet officials, and set up games.
- Oversee contracts with opponents and assist with scheduling as needed
- Work with MSHSAA TV to broadcast postseason events.
- Work with Coaches to set up games to stream.
- Provide additional supervision during the school day as needed
- Summer - Evening Facility assistance & Summer camps postings as related to Athletics..
- Maintain and update school touch screens with school historical data (academics, athletics, tradition)
- Facility usage - responsible for scheduling Athletic events, utilizing the Master Library system according to procedures and guidelines approved by the Board of Education. Schedules all events for LHS Athletics, ensures activities do not conflict with scheduled events/activities, and approves them through proper routes.
- Assists with assigning spaces for indoor practices when the issue of inclement weather arises.
- Technology - Social Media Accounts, Season Passes (Fall & Winter Activities), Oversee Team Accounts/Club Accounts, Digital Signage & Announcements, (PR, Marketing), Troubleshooting (Audio/Tech.)
- Scoreboard/Video Board:
- Works with Daktronics to troubleshoot video board issues
- Uploads images, videos, and files for video boards
- Troubleshoot scoreboard issues
- Assists with setting up boards for events
- Collaborate with Sports Broadcasting students to preload videos and social media posts
- As the Media Day facilitator, I assist in setting up team and individual picture schedules with Wagner and plan times with Sports Broadcasting students for video board images.
- Responsible for Football Pre-game set up with spirit teams and intros.

Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Experience with scheduling systems and setting up practices/games for Athletics.
- Experience using Microsoft Word and online applications, graphic design, Google, Canva, and social media.
- Strong communication skills in regard to collaboration with Athletic Directors, Coaches, Parents, and Students.
