Job Description:
Classroom Assistant - Support (full-time)
The Kirkwood School District is hiring a Classroom Assistant for the 25/26 school year to support Robinson Elementary School.
 
Join our team of Classroom Assistants at Robinson Elementary School. 

Classroom Assistants support the Elementary School classroom by working with students, supporting instruction, and working closely with Teachers.
Classroom supervision and some clerical work are a part of this role.
 
Requirements: 

• Two years of college (at least 60 college credit hours as required by MOSIP standards)/associate degree and 1 year of related work experience.
• OR bachelor’s degree in education, special education, or a related field.
• College coursework related to early childhood, education, or special education (preferred)
• B-3 or Elementary 1-6 certification (preferred)
• CPR certification and first aid training (preferred)

This is a full-time,10-month position working 7.0 hours per day, with benefits, including:

Pay starts at $18.89 per hour, dependent on relevant experience.
