Full-Time | 2025–2026 Academic Year
Holy Cross Academy, a dynamic and faith-filled Catholic school committed to academic excellence and spiritual formation, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Math Teacher to join our faculty for the 2025–2026 school year.
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate is a mission-driven educator who brings strong content knowledge in mathematics and a deep commitment to forming students intellectually and spiritually. This teacher will be responsible for teaching 6th–8th grade math, including Pre-Algebra and Algebra I, and will integrate Catholic values throughout the curriculum. A collaborative spirit, a growth mindset, and a genuine love for teaching middle school students are essential.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based math lessons aligned with diocesan curriculum.
- Foster a classroom environment rooted in mutual respect, academic rigor, and joyful learning.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to support school-wide initiatives.
- Model and nurture Catholic faith and values through daily interactions and classroom practices.
- Participate actively in school liturgies, service projects, and faith formation opportunities.
- Maintain open and consistent communication with parents and guardians.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification (or willingness to pursue certification).
- Previous teaching experience at the middle school level is preferred.
- Practicing Catholic who is passionate about Catholic education (preferred).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional and spiritual growth.
