Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking passionate and dedicated Parent Educator to join our Parents as Teachers team for the 2025-2026 school year! This position plays a vital role in supporting families and promoting optimal early development for children from pregnancy through kindergarten by partnering with parents and caregivers through home visits and family engagement. The qualified candidate should have a minimum of 60 college hours in early childhood development with a minimum of two years experience working directly with young children under the age of five. Certification in early childhood education, elementary education, or five years of experience in a pre-school setting is preferred. Continuing education is required to maintain program requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide regular in-home visits using the evidence-based Parents as Teachers curriculum to families with children prenatal to age five.
- Support parents in understanding child development and implementing developmentally appropriate practices.
- Conduct developmental screenings and health assessments.
- Collaborate with families to set goals and connect them with community resources as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of visits, screenings, and family progress.
- Plan and facilitate group connections or family events to build community and promote parent engagement.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and reflective supervision.
- Family Visit - $70.00 per visit
- Screening - $45.00 per screening
- Meetings or Professional Devlopment - $25.00 per hour
