Position: High School Physical Education & Health Teacher
Location: Sherwood High School, Creighton, Missouri
Employment Type: Full-Time
Sherwood High School is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and dedicated educator to join our faculty as a High School Physical Education and Health Teacher. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about promoting student wellness, physical fitness, and overall health education. Additional classroom teaching opportunities may be available based on qualifications and school needs.

Sherwood High School is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and dedicated educator to join our faculty as a High School Physical Education and Health Teacher. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about promoting student wellness, physical fitness, and overall health education. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an engaging curriculum for physical education and health classes.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports students' physical, mental, and social development.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Integrate and assess the writing of all students.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and comply with school policies.
- Supervise and ensure student safety during physical activities.
- Assistant High School Football Coach position is available.
- Additional coaching opportunities in other sports may be discussed based on experience and interest.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Health Education, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification or the ability to obtain certification in the state.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Previous teaching and/or coaching experience is preferred but not required.
- Commitment to fostering a positive school culture and student engagement.
