5th Grade Math Teacher
2025-2026 School Year
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelors' Degree
Elementary certification: 1-6 or 5-9 math
Length of contract: 179 Days

- have knowledge of the current shifts in education standards and practices.
- utilize data to drive instruction and grouping of students.
- be a proactive communicator with parents and colleagues.
- demonstrate effective classroom management strategies.
- display and employ enthusiasm for teaching and expect students to enjoy learning.
- effectively integrate technology to enhance learning.
- work collaboratively with other staff members of the department, building, and district.
- be open to implementing Positive Behavior Interventions and Supporst (PBIS) within the classroom.
- be open to working as a collaborative team embracing Professional Learning Communities (PLC) philosophy.
