STEAM Academy at McCluer South-Berkeley, Located at 201 Brotherton Lane in Ferguson, Missouri.  STEAM High is committed to challenging students to achieve academic excellence and personal success by providing state-of-the-art instruction and a challenging curriculum within a warm, caring environment in partnership with dedicated parents, staff and community. 
 
 
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
 

• Must have a valid Missouri teaching certificate in Business 9-12 and Marketing 9-12 or a BS in Business Administration and the willingness to pursue a career in teaching.
• Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity, interest, and abilities of students.
• Guide the learning process toward the achievement of established District curriculum goals, establish and communicate clear objectives to the students for all lessons, units and projects.
• Employ a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media including project based learning, STEAM oriented lessons, deeper learning techniques with opportunities for students to showcase their learning in exhibits and events.
• Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis, provide progress reports as required, and communicated with parents regularly.
• Maintain accurate, complete and correct records as required by law, District policy, and administration regulations.
• Develop classroom expectations, which are consistent with established District Student Expectations Code and the assigned building. Utilize the tenets of PBIS and Restorative Practices in implementing classroom expectations.
• Project Based Learning training preferred, STEM training preferred, and/or willingness to become trained.
• Maintain good attendance.
