Job Summary
We are seeking a Middle School Teacher to join our dedicated faculty at St Bridget of Kildare School. As a Catholic institution, we are committed to fostering academic excellence, Faith development, and the holistic growth of our students. The ideal candidate will have a dedication to the Catholic faith, strong background in Social Studies and Science education, and a commitment to forming students for the 21st century world.
Job Responsibilities
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and critical inquiry.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary approaches and promote cross-curricular connections.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development as readers, writers, and thinkers.
- communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress, upcoming assignments, and ways to support learning at home.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field and State certification or licensure education.
- Experience teaching at the middle school level preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in education
- Familiarity with educational technology tools and digital resources for teaching and learning.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, colleagues, parents, and administrators.
- Commitment to the mission and values of a Catholic school community, including fostering faith formation and character development.
