Position:                             Director of Transportation
                                                             
Term:                                   Full-time, 12 Months
Classification:                   Classified/Exempt
Location:                            Transportation Department
Qualifications:                   

• Experience in a supervisory capacity, significant leadership role, or Certified School Administrator required.
• Knowledge of school transportation and operations; organization skills to route a transportation system; Management and communication skills and experience.
• Possess and or obtain a current commercial driver’s license with the proper school bus and passenger endorsements.
• Possess or obtain a school bus driver instructor certification, if requested. 
• Must be able to communicate effectively and manage personnel in a way that is fair and maintains high expectations of performance and behavior.
• Such alternate to the above qualifications that the Board may find acceptable.
