Job Description:
Knob Noster Public Schools is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as Director of Student Services for the 2024-2025 School Year, following the retirement of our current director.
Knob Noster Public Schools consistently performs at the top of the state and ranked as the Number 1 rural high school in Missouri for College and Career Readiness for the last two years by U.S. News and World Report. Knob Noster offers a progressive and innovative approach to our student services department to ensure the needs of all students are met.
Knob Noster Public Schools is the resident district of Whiteman Air Force Base, home to the strategic B-2 Stealth Bomber mission. KNPS serves a 70% military-connected student population, making it one of a handful of heavily military-impacted schools in the nation. The Air Force recently ranked Whiteman Air Force Base as Number 1 out of all 154 Air Force installations in the country in regard to quality of public education.
The successful candidate will demonstrate diverse professional knowledge, a vision of excellence, a student-centered focus, a positive, team-oriented attitude, and the capacity and commitment to elevate Knob Noster High School to the next levels of success. The successful candidate will demonstrate a honed focus on the ongoing identification, recruitment, and retention of unique human capital capable of achieving excellence in academic, athletic, and extracurricular programs.

A competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and credentials will be offered with a salary range of dependant upon experience, along with a highly-desirable work calendar. Prior successful experience as a lead principal is preferred, but not required. This position will remain open until filled.
