The Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking a highly qualified individual for the position of  English Language Learner Paraprofessional Specialist at Creekmoor Elementary for the 2024-2025 School Year.   Desired qualities of candidates include:

• Ability and desire to work with all ages of students with varying English abilities.
• Strong English skills.
• Ability to work with a teacher or independently as needed to implement lessons or monitor tests.
• Strong computer skills to assist students with educational software and sites.
• Ability and desire to work with families to transmit information from the school.
• Experience working with diverse populations.

Qualifications: 

• Candidate must be qualified and willing to obtain a Missouri Substitute Certificate. 
• Ability to speak and interpret a second language (perferably Spanish).
• Previous experience working with children in a school setting preferred.

Salary:   

• $16.96 - $20.26/hour depending on relevant education and experience.
