Summary 
In order to strengthen our team, we're looking for a committed Math instructor with years of expertise. You will be expected to offer math classes that help students improve their theoretical and practical mathematical abilities. Kairos Academies retains the right to change and/or modify the duties and essential functions of this position at any time. Responsibilities
  • Adapt and implement a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum
  • Develop academically rigorous lessons, unit plans, rubrics, and assessments 
  • Make use of data to inform instructional decisions
  • Give students daily feedback on their performance and plan for individual learning needs
  • Build a Positive School and Classroom Culture
  • Embody and maintain the school's values, policies, and culture 
  • Build positive relationships with students, families, teachers, and staff
  • Maintain strong communication with all parents and share progress 
  • Effectively manage a classroom with up to 25 students

Technology Skills 
Competence in Microsoft Office applications and ability to use a variety of computer applications and platforms. Ability to use basic office equipment. Knowledge and experience in using a computer-based student Information Management system.

Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree Required
  • Masters degree Preferred
  • Pass Criminal Background Check Required
  • Missouri Substitute Certification Required
  • Valid Missouri Teacher Certification content specific to role applied for, Strongly Preferred or willingness to become certified ASAP.
  • 3+ years of teaching experience Preferred
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and provide work authorization.
Starting Salary: From $48,000 
Sign on Bonus: $1500
HTF stipend: $1000
Total sign on bonus amount $2500

Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday 7:30am- 4:00pm 
    • Some weekends and evenings will be required 
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Saint Louis, MO 63118: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required). Please note, this is not a remote position. All Kairos teachers are required to deliver in-person instruction onsite, in our school in St. Louis.
