Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
For the 25-26 School Year
Position Summary: Public school Speech-Language Pathologists are communication specialists who work with students who are identified with language disabilities, articulation deficits, dysfluent speech, voice disorders, and other related areas of concern. SLP will screen, evaluate, and case manage IEPs, write goals, and oversee SLP-A.

De Soto, “The City of Pride”, has a population of 6,375 and is located in the southeastern part of Missouri, approximately 45 miles south of St. Louis.
District Facts:
Current enrollment-- approximately 2,400 students.
Current number of certified staff—approximately 190
100% 1:1 technology integration with Chromebooks grades K-12
Timeline: Open Until Filled
Salary: Starting at $51,250, for a Master's Degree with no previous experience. The district will provide credit for up to 10 years of contracted teaching experience + 1 for every 2 after that in a school setting. Related Services Pay Schedule

- License through the Missouri Board of Healing Arts
- Knowledge of current speech and language strategies.
- Knowledge, use, and application of technology in an educational setting.
- Skills in word processing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all areas.
- Ability to physically move throughout all district buildings and campus locations.
- Ability to produce high-quality, error-free work products.
